Wolcott’s Versatility Horses and Training specializes in training and selling high-quality all-around riding and driving horses. Our comprehensive six-week training program focuses on creating safe, dependable equine partners by starting from the ground up. We believe that a solid foundation in groundwork builds a horse’s confidence, leading to trustworthy and capable partners under saddle. This confidence is further reinforced through extensive trail rides and challenges on our on-site obstacle course, ensuring each horse is ready for diverse environments and experience.

BIO

Biography Dayton Wolcott’s passion for horseback riding began early, growing up on a large horse farm. Immersed in the daily care and training of a variety of horses, Dayton quickly learned that every horse has a unique way of learning. This understanding inspired Dayton to pursue a wide range of learning opportunities to refine his horsemanship skills, including: • Mentorship with renowned horseman Phil Haugen • Participation in clinics led by Jeff Davis and Diego Ganona • Earning 3rd place out of 45 riders in the 2022 PA Horse World Expo Obstacle Challenge • Competing in the GHS PA Mustang TIP Challenge Through these experiences, Dayton continues to build on his expertise and dedication to the art of horsemanship.

Sable

Meet Sable, a pretty Friesian/ Morgan cross that has the kindest eye and sweetest disposition. Standing at 15.3hh and only 4 years old, this guy is solid broke and ready to go in any direction. He will trail ride in a group or alone, and gets along with everyone. His willing and sweet attitude is hard not to fall in love with. He has a nice walk, trot, and canter and will ride western or English in the arena or on the trail. Sable will go through water, and cross bridges with no hesitation. He has seen many different farm animals and they dont bother him. No matter what you ask him to do, he will always give his best effort. He is so fun and easy to ride, we have used him for our 8yr old lessons. The little girl is the video riding him is 8yrs old and can ride him all over the farm! He has no health issues and doesn’t require a special diet. He trailers nicely, and stands for the farrier and vet, has great feet. This young horse has his whole life ahead of him, and he will make a honest and willing partner for many years to come.
